After leaving the Clairifier water enters the treatment plant at the Flash Mixer where additional chemicals are rapidly mixed with the water.

Water then flows through the Flocculators. A gentle stirring action causes suspended particules to form into flocculent masses which settle out of the water as it flows slowly through the Settling Basins and on to the Filters.
